This study analyzed the Course Conclusion Papers available in the repository of the Universidad Intercultural Indígena de Michoacán (Mexico), seeking evidence of intercultural education and Overculturality as a tool for local and community development. He used the Evidential Paradigm method associated with the State of Knowledge methodology to then carry out analyzes of the Content and Discourse of the collected material. The main results were a search to strengthen identity through symbols, concern with food sovereignty, issues relating to gender and education. It is concluded that there is an intimate relationship with the concept of Overculturality, when it becomes expressed about cultural survival, with the use of non-own or autonomous tools, such as the involvement of indigenous students in the way of knowledge production.
