Abstract

This research aims to investigate traditional health knowledge and practices, anchored inindigenous wisdom at the Universidad Intercultural Indígena de Michoacán - UIIM, Mexico. Theintention of this study is to understand the traditional health practices carried out by nanas,indigenous elders of the Purhépecha ethnic group, who provide services at UIIM as teachers oftraditional culture chosen and nominated by the community.
