Abstract

ABSTRACT
This article is the result of an analysis of the formation of thought and language from a Vygotskyan perspective, providing an understanding of how interaction with the environment, culture and society can help in the process of individual development. In order to analyze the formation of thought and language, the film by German filmmaker Werner Herzog entitled "The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser" was used as a driving force. It depicts the story of a young man of mysterious origin who had no contact with society until he was 16 years old. However, a bibliographical investigation was carried out into the formation of thought and language, using the following references: Dongo-Montoya (2021); Joenk (2002); Meshcheryakov (2010); Pino (2010); Vygotsky (1998, 2003, 2008, 2010) among others. In this way, we discuss: interaction with the environment and how it acts for the development of higher mental processes, the formation of thought and language and how one helps in the development of the other, the construction of the individual's interpsychic and intrapsychic process.
