THE HISTORICAL CONSTRUCTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN JOURNALISM IN BRAZIL

This article aimed to present a means of bibliographic research, a historical construction of higher education in Brazil and its impacts on the formation of the academic and professional field of journalism, observing how power relations exercised in different instances, be they political, economic and cultural, that compound or saber / journalistic field. Thus, it was possible to observe how the first undergraduate courses in journalism took place in the country, which speeches made use of each of the guidelines that preceded the current one and the effects on the journalist's academic formation, in addition to envisioning the reinvention of the saber / journalistic field in the current epistemological soil nourished by the use of digital technologies.
