Abstract

The present work was based on a survey of the master's and doctoral research carried out by teachers of Basic Education and the State University of Goiás - Campus Porangatu, identifying its importance for the rescue of the history of Porangatu and the north of Goiás. Using the state-of-the-art methodology, it was possible to identify and map many researches, however, we opted to analyze those specifically related to the Municipality of Porangatu. In addition to mapping the lines of research and its scope for the rescue, preservation and dissemination of local history, the intention of this work is to create a database on the results obtained in order to subsidize new researches. In order to carry out the work, a bibliographical survey was carried out on the state of the art or state of knowledge methodology, with the purpose of clarifying possible doubts about the topic and also identifying in the dissertations and theses of the researched the methods, lines of research and their results. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the emergence of new research in different areas of knowledge, expanding data, innovating knowledge and enabling the dissemination of research conducted by teachers and doctors of the Municipality of Porangatu.
