Abstract

This present text is the result of my masters degree in Education, and it aims to discuss the embodied learning development in a school environment, considering body freedom associated with expressions, ideas and sensibility. For this purpose, the source that I have been using is my pedagogical experiences as a Geography and Theater teacher, at basic school, which was responsible for setting an intersection between education, body and movement at schools context. Because of this, the research was based on the researched theories that I selected, in order to establish a theoretical background related to discussions on Education area. After that, I analyzed my biographical narrative related to my teaching career. To support my dissertation, I selected ideas from famous authors such as Duarte Junior (2000); Strazzacappa (2001); Gaya (2006); Boal (2009); Le Breton (2012); Surdi (2018), and so on. Mestre em Educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás; Especialista em Educação Física Escolar pela Faculdade de Educação São Luís; Especialista em Gênero e Diversidade na Escola pela Universidade Federal de Goiás; Graduado em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade Federal de Goiás; Graduado em Geografia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás; É professor nos cursos de Pedagogia e Educação Física da Faculdade Cidade de Aparecida de Goiânia – Fac Cidade; Realizou curso de aperfeiçoamento em Educação Escolar por meio do Programa de Formação de Professores da Educação Básica no Canadá/CAPES.
