Abstract

The objective of this article is to show how knowledge was disseminated in
the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and how teachers adapted to the use of
Information and Communication Technologies (hereinafter, ICTs) in the teaching and
learning process at this time of health and humanitarian crisis. To this end, we
investigated, through bibliographical and qualitative research, how educational
institutions restructured and rebuilt themselves during the period of social isolation,
when pedagogical activities were continued through remote teaching. The study is
based on the writings of authors Boaventura de Sousa Santos (2020; 2006), António
Nóvoa (2014), Moita Lopes (2008) among others. The results indicate that the
pedagogical process in the remote period had to be reinvented, planned with new
perspectives by teachers and that technological communication and information tools
will be recurrently present in their daily practices.
