One of the greatest difficulties of students in Mathematics, especially in the EJA, is to understand the statements of mathematical problems. The game belongs to our cultural context and provides players with an understanding of the problems surrounding its rules. Thus, the objective of this work is to demonstrate that the game can be used as a tool to facilitate student learning, in understanding and solving mathematical problems. The methodology was directed to the Literature Review through the bibliographic research of authors such as: Farias (2010), Grando(2000), and Moura (2011) among others that were necessary during the elaboration of the work, having as a source of research books , articles and other materials from the internet, taking care to search for reliable databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo, among others. The results showed the effectiveness of the game in learning Mathematics and pointed to the need for more studies on a more dynamic approach to teaching Mathematics.
