Abstract

The enormity of problems to follow from the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil and in the world affected the educational area. Austerity measures of social isolation, activities of daily life, especially the suspension of face-to-face classes, disruption of a problem for schools. The objective of this study was to analyze the importance of the pedagogical coordinator work during the period of remote classes. In facing the challenges taken into account the teaching professionals of this proposal. The integration of initiatives that participate in online training, as a method of learning by the faculty, as well as the interaction of students and families in the use of the digital platform. In this one, a methodological approach was chosen, adopting the mixed method with a quali-quantitative approach. The semi-structured questionnaire was used with questions collected in the school environment. The object of study consists of four school units belonging to the state network of Goiás. An analysis of the data was based on reports associated with the inherent conditions of each school and the available digital technologies. The results revealed that education in the speeches and experiences of the CP’s wasn’t able to teach distance classes due to the inefficiency of digital networks and the lack of preparation of teachers. There was a readjustment of the school space, although with insufficient participation of the family and evident disinterest from the students. It is concluded, however, that from the manifestation of the CP, it becomes possible to adapt, share digital applications and minimize the prejudice of teaching and learning in the pandemic.
